Job Description:

A Pawnbroker is responsible for a variety of job duties including greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information. Individual responsibilities as a Pawnbroker may include demonstrating outstanding customer service and negotiating skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Sales Experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Computer literacy
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required
  • Criminal Background check

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Pawn Plus customers with purchasing an assortment of merchandise available in store
  • Having knowledge of customer buying habits, identifying popular brands and being aware of trends. Lending opinions and providing product information.
  • Processing and explaining pawn loans to our clients
  • Learning to identify and qualify merchandise through testing, observing and evaluating
  • Provide outstanding customer service and building strong relationships within the communities we serve
  • Adhere to all Pawn Plus and state specific policies, procedures and regulations
